After years of contemplation we’ve decided to leave this paradise we call home to be closer to our midwest family. The decision has not been an easy one as we love this beautiful island and have many precious memories, family, and friends here we will greatly miss. 😢
Thankfully we have the freedom to come back to visit, but know it will never be the same as living here. 🌺 We’ll be carrying the beauty and divinity that encompasses Hawai’i with us in our hearts. God has been tugging on our heart strings for awhile and although this is a giant and scary leap of faith, we’re excited for the adventure that awaits. 🍁
As we venture into the unknown world of traveling without orders, please feel free to share your collective knowledge. Since many of you have braved such moves with your families for one reason or another, we welcome any advice, tips, prayers, and/or words of encouragement as we prepare to move over halfway across the country with an almost 2 and 3 year old. 😳
We’re moving in January (we know, we know it’s wintertime and cold ❄️⛄️ :) but this allows Jeff, Vance, and James to finish up their semesters while we also get to enjoy one last tropical Christmas.🎄 🏝🌴 🐠
We’ll be staying with mom in Nebraska for a period of time while we house hunt, and couldn’t be more grateful to get to spend more time with her and our loved ones nearby. 💕 We’re currently looking to settle in the Loveland, CO area, but nothing is set in stone as of yet. ⛰
Thank you to all who have prayed for us or helped us prepare spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically for this move. You have and continue to be blessings in our lives. 💝 #reentering#snow#belt#and#huskernation#soon 🏐🏈

PT 1/4. Ice stalactite. Under the right lighting conditions ice can look seriously cool. No pun intended... This guy was hanging off the side of an overhang in the canyon we explored. I love the way it flairs off on the wall to the left.
