In my last trip in Belize with @l_e_a_w I had the privilege to learn more about crocodiles at the amazing @aces.crocs ’ Crocodile Scientific Investigators (CSI) tour, a unique experience traversing through mangrove forests at night (as it’s when the crocodiles are more active and hunting for food) on the back side of the Ambergris Caye island. Crocodile Expert Chris Summers ( @saveacroc ) in charge of taking out the tour will have you interacting with the wild reptiles and at the same time helping protect them and conserving their natural habitats. The American Crocodile Education Sanctuary (ACES) will have you appreciating and loving these threatened species and not looking at them as scary and dangerous creatures.
Chris and his crew are very careful and handle the crocodiles with extreme care and attention. Their mission is to protect them and the tour is super informative and educational;
Please search on YouTube for: “Learn more about crocodiles with Aces - LeAw” for seeing the full video of the tour and the sanctuary.
Here’s a few snaps from our trip to Darwin a couple weeks ago. We had a great time visiting @crocosauruscove the Darwin Military Museum and a heap of other places. The salty in the pic is 5.1m and he wasn’t even the biggest one there! #darwin#nt#babycroc#thetopend
