Ed acco la Tela Spirituale "Quantum" appena terminata.
Tela in canapone dipinta e ricamata a mano (58×100).
Happening in Singapore - Singapore Teddy and Friends Show 2018 🎉
Teddies are iconic objects which touch the hearts of both children and adults. Almost everyone can associate easily with teddy bears as they hark back to fond childhood memories. However, with the impact of modern technology, the sight of children playing with such toys is fast disappearing in the midst of today’s busy society.
This event aims to promote an appreciation for toy making and build a connection between the human touch and the art of Teddy Bear making. The show features International Teddy Bear and Doll Artists from Australia, Estonia, Germany, Japan, Russia, Taiwan, USA, including some of our locally bred talents. You can also expect to find bear making supplies with a wide selection of Fabrics, Joints and Eyes for making your own Teddy Bears. 😍
There are several Teddy Bear or Doll Making workshops for both adults and children on Friday, 16 November 2018.
Dates: 16-18 November 2018 *
Venue: Visual Arts Centre *Friday, 16 November will be open to the public who have registered for the workshops. *Saturday and Sunday, 17 & 18 November will be the main exhibition event, open to the general public.

Adding the stripes suddenly made this work pop and the composition gained a narrative. Nothing like the unexpected leading the artist on a creative adventure - without leaving the studio and no passport required - for now! Acrylic on paper. 8 x 8 ins.
'The fraud police are the imaginary, terrifying force of "real" grown-ups who you believe-at some subconscious level- are going to come knocking on your door in the middle of the night, saying: We've been watching you, and we have evidence that you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU"RE DOING. You stand accused of the crime of completely winging it, you are guilty of making shit up as you go along, you do not actually deserve your job, we are taking everything away and we are TELLING EVERYBODY.'
'People working in the arts engage in street combat with The Fraud Police on a daily basis, because much of our work is new and not readily or conventionally categorized. When you're an artist, nobody ever tells you or hits you with the magic wand of legitimacy. You have to hit your own head with your own handmade wand, And you feel stupid doing it.
There is no "correct path" to becoming a real artist. You might think you'll gain legitimacy by going to art school, getting published, getting signed to a record label. But its all bullshit, and its all in your head. You're an artist when you say you are. And you're a good artist when you make somebody else experience or feel something deep or unexpected.'- Amanda Palmer, The Art of Asking
