No better way to celebrate the first day of fall #autumnequinox than a visit to the historical @yerkesobservatory in Williams Bay, WI. The mechanical design and architecture is incredibly inspiring. It's too bad the University of Chicago @uchicago will discontinue use of this facility later this year, but exciting to hear they are focusing time and efforts on the #giantmagellantelescope in Vallenar, Chile.
Razor update: we are developing a relationship with a new machine shop which will help drive down pricing and improve lead times. Interested in testing a prototype? Contact us today!
Only visible for several days, one image fades as another appears at the opposite end of the lake. But this ephemeral art delivers a consistent message. Talented French artist Saype paints the faces of those caught in one of the biggest humanitarian challenges of our time. On the lawn of the Perle du Lac, a young girl reaches out towards a tiny origami boat. In La Tour-de-Peilz, the child floats that same boat in a pool. The girl is Future, the boat a message of hope to the world. Mixing Land Art and graffiti, these monumental frescos painted with biodegradable materials evoke philosophical emotions, provoking the viewer to question profound human nature, our roots, our future, our place on this earth and in society. But go 🔜, because as the grass grows, these images will disappear..... 〰️〰️〰️⚖️〰️
