This summer I finally visited my 15th country. Well... sort of... If sitting in Moscow airport overnight counts.😂 It was definitely an interesting experience... But I’m certain there’s more to see of Russia than cigarette butts in the airport bathroom and the most bizarrely placed TGI Friday’s I can imagine.
Shooting one of your top 5 favorite photographers doesn’t come around too often. I took full advantage of this day. Thank you for the opportunity @13thwitness and thanks to you I’ve learned to appreciate the grainy shots as well.

This morning I ask for your help. Over 2 months ago I was in a car accident. Without getting into too much detail, my daily life has been altered making things like being able to work, walk my dog or even be on my phone difficult due to pain. I am however thankful, because things could always be worse. In effort to stay positive I want to learn more about meditation and how to incorporate it in my daily life. This is where your help comes in! Do you meditate? apps, books etc? I would love any insight! If you don’t practice then tell me this... which pic do you like the best 😊 happy Humpday peeps! .

Last sun rays of the day. Looking west at the Eastern Sierras. .
Highway 395 gives you some of the best views of the Sierras and is one of my favorite scenic drives. If my camera is readily accessible it can also easily become one of those “longer than I thought it would take” drives. So many epic views along the way and the perfect drive for any Eagles album. Haven’t taken the kids on this drive yet though but that is going to change this winter, when these peaks are at their best. Hope they like the Eagles 😁.
Vacation is amazing but let me tell you the moment I left I felt a little homesick! There is no place like home to me 🐶🐱🍃💕. Anyone else feel homesick right when they leave home for a period of time? I can’t wait to see my animals and my plants!!!!
The caption for this photo came to me long before this photo was taken, and it’s amazing to see how things always seem to come together in the end.
Life’s journey is like a road, and that road contains many things that relate to that journey. The road itself is the journey. The yellow lines represent the rules, and sometimes those rules can be broken in order to continue on that journey. They also represent the guidance you receive while on that journey. The trees keep you safe, but they change with the seasons.
But most importantly is the road itself. That road represents so many things, in so many ways, to so many people. That road is whatever journey you are on, whether good or bad.
The point of this particular photo is the turn in this road that leads into the light, because that road is never a straight road. It has hills, valleys, and most importantly... It has turns. And while it may seem like sometimes those turns come unexpectedly, they almost always lead to the light.✌🏽| #RealTime
A year ago this week, I googled “what is the most beautiful trek in the world?”
The Annapurna Circuit in Nepal was one of the first treks that came up, and I booked the flight that same day.
It turned out to be one of the best trips of my life. Definitely hope to make it back to Nepal again someday soon.
Even though lighthouses may not serve the same purpose they once did, there is still utility in having them. Especially in this busy channel, except now instead of freighters and fishing vessels, the Edgartown harbor light mostly sees sailboats and yachts slowly inch by - nevertheless it stands faithfully on watch to provide guidance when all else fails.
