“Corey was a good dancer. Corey and i had one last dance the night before he was killed.” 💔This is so heartbreaking. He was so sweet,so full of life. He never wanted to harm anyone. The next morning was supposed to be just another day at school. He was so happy for going back to school. Some weeks before he had his wisdom teeth surgery which forced him to miss school and he was feeling disappointed. Corey loved Columbine. He loved his life. He loved everyone. I will never know how this could happen to someone so pure & innocent like him. May God punish those who ordered your fate.
I love you dear, very much. Be always in peace and know that i’ll always love you. “Out of my head, into your arms tonight, tonight....”🖤🙇🏻♀️
This is a sad truth about America. That that our mothers and fathers have to be afraid to let their kids go to school. And that our current ministration doesn't care. But we can change the future so no one would would have to die an avoidable death. #neverforget#neveragain
I told myself my whole life that one day I would run a marathon. Today was that day. I freakin did it. Wow.
Training for this thing taught me so many lessons. Actually running the race taught me even more. Number one, and most important, I’m reminded how blessed I am to have the very best family in the world. Thank you for the support today, guys. Meant a lot to me.
A guy wore a Tough Mudder shirt to the Spartan race and was heckled for it at the starting line. After the race I understood why. Spartan Race > Tough Mudder. 14+ miles, crossed 5 rivers and 32 obstacles through Spartanburg SC. #neveragain#spartanrace2018#spartanbeast2018#spartanrace
In WW2 my grandfather was already a surgeon, so he was stationed in a POW camp where he was a doctor/surgeon to criminals that we kept alive.
One night, he was woken up and told a particular man was very ill. He went to his barracks but upon opening the door, men fell from the rafters and attacked my grandpa. After fighting them off, he examined the man. He needed emergency surgery.
Once in the makeshift operating room, the sick man took hold of my grandpas scalpel and stabbed him in the leg, dragging the blade down his thigh. He said my grandpa was obviously going to try to kill him in surgery since my grandfather was a Jew. While the patient was restrained, my grandpa sewed up his own leg and then saved the mans life. “Why?” I once asked him. “Because good people don’t stoop to a different level when they come face to face with it. We have to lead by example. With our chins high and our eyes forward”. ****Where does strength come from? Is it learned? Is it random? Is it built? I can only hope it is inherited. ******
Today is Remembrance Day and in Munich we‘re displaying huge poppies to remember the atrocities of war and the victims. It’s so much more important these days, with all the turmoil going on in politics and society. It can be pretty scary to look ahead, but we have it in our hands to sculpt the future and the world we live in. That is our responsibility and our debt to the dead 🌺✌🏻
On February 14, 2018 Nicholas Cruz opened fire at Majory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He killed 17 people and injured 17 others.
It's the deadliest shooting at a High School in the history of the United States.
Rest in peace, 17 Angels.
