Ok, definitely did NOT expect to wake up to a dusting of the white stuff this morning! 😳 #fallinmaine#notreadyforsnow
What I did expect today, though, was to get back to my typical routine of starting my morning off with a green smoothie. 🌱 After a few days of being off my routine - attending a conference where the food was provided with limited options and a mom’s breakfast with all kinds of delicious, yet atypical, foods compared to what I usually eat - I have definitely been feeling it in my body. #nobeuno
Two sluggish runs the past couple days, an upset stomach and nausea told me it was time to get back on track. So I set my alarm this morning to allow plenty of time to blend up a green smoothie + be intentional about what foods I packed for my day so I that I don’t find myself at the vending machine this afternoon reaching for something unhealthy.
Sometimes life gets in the way or we find ourselves in situations where it isn’t as easy to maintain our healthy habits and pulls off track. It’s ok. It happens. We know it will happen. Sometimes we’re prepared for it and can plan ahead appropriate, sometimes less so. The trick is being able to recognize it, not beat yourself up for it and just decide to get right back at it the next day. :: Have a great Thursday, everyone!
I've been in Idaho for 30 years and I still dont like WINTER. And the crazy thing is, by Winter standards, Boise is pretty mild. It's not even the cold. I actually love the cold. It's the snow on the roads I could easily do without, and judging by the frigid mornings, old man Winter is on his way into town! 😨😨😨
Props to everyone who went out in the snow today 😂❄️🎉 #winning
I went to the gym, then to church, then stayed inside the rest of the day, being cozy, doing laundry and watching football 🏈 🎉 #notreadyforsnow
