“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” This is an interesting quote if you sit back and think about. I believe we are all looking to constantly better our lives in some way shape or form. Whether its through being a better friend, a better husband/wife, a better co worker, improve your fitness, live the life you really want to live, etc etc. Think about the effects the people around you have on you? Are they positive and uplifting? Do they encourage you? Do they energize you? Or do they constantly drag you down, constantly complaining? Maybe they make fun of the things you are trying to do? Its so important to surround yourself with people who energize you, encourage you, and want to help make you the better person you’re looking to be. I know personally i can be a positive life force and i’ve also been a negative life force as well. When my sister passed away i had a hard look at a lot of things, and one of them was realizing not wasting time on negativity or being surrounded by negativity. Life is too short and none of us are guaranteed time. I read something recently that said “once you realize that you pay for everything with your time and not with money that is when your whole world will change and you will comprehend what actually holds value versus what you are told that is valuable.” This was another instance that really stopped me and made me think shit, wow! We are all walking this path of life, so why not try to be the best person you can be for yourself and for the people around you, and surround yourself with people who are trying to do the same!
Fun times at the wedge with @whoisjob @poopiesgram @bengravyy full edit is live! Link in bio!
Good times meeting @alexanderthegrom and catching up with @robbiecrawford bummed I couldn't make it out there today🤙
Painting up some canvas edges. Probably my least exciting job but a perfect thing to do when my head can't handle making any more painting decisions. It is always satisfying when the edges are all tidy and complete!
P.S. I haven't posted any recent artworks for a while because they are being kept all under wraps to be revealed at the exhibition. Hope you have a lovely weekend!
