Not too many bluebird days left, so we made the most of this one by shooting up Mt Ellinor. An aggressive pace set the scene to make the impressive views of Rainer and Adams beyond Lake Cushman seem that much more satisfying. And if my legs weren’t already quivering enough, @mimikvinge had the bright idea of running down 🤦♂️ .
To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted

Really, really excited to let the world know that I've been accepted into my choice Masters program for Tourism Management at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. I'll be moving to the west coast in April guys - and while it hasn't totally sunken in yet, I am so, incredibly thrilled to be returning to these mountain scapes once again. And well, school will be cool too. ;)
I have fallen in love with this industry, but I know where I am right now is the first leg of the ladder, so to speak. I'm hoping this program will launch me to the second step, and beyond. I have not yet completely figured out the path that I'm on, but I'm hoping that by the end of this program, I will have a grounded vision of where exactly I want my career to develop. For now - a dream gig would be to assist in recognizing and developping touristic potential in natural areas abroad. Aim high, right? 😅 We shall see!
**Photo is not of BC, but of Sulfur Mountain in Alberta, which is as far west as I've gone thus far. Taken by @lili.paradi last year, edits by me!
