“When the door shuts, and the windows are barred. He feels so secluded, seduced by the silence. When the light dims and the night sky glistens, the grass calls his brain lay and listen. Still he can not break free, trapped by a lie. That he was stuck in a house, since he was never inside. If only the fool could see, he’s on the outside looking in.” - anonymous
I like this because I feel it means that sometimes people act as though they have all these limitations. That people around them, are doing things they could never do or accomplish. Most of the times these things are all in our heads. We trap ourselves in a box we were never truly in to begin with. The only solution is to turn around and realize that you’ve been free. That we blind ourselves to the obvious in an attempt to feel sorry for ourselves and give ourselves an excuse not to do better. Lol, such a long comment for such a simple picture lol.
______ ⚓️ Photographed in 4D, the Gaffrée and Guinle Monument, in the Barão Square of Rio Branco, Santos, near the Carmo Church and its Andradas Pantheon, is the monument to Gaffrée and Guinle, erected in 1934 by Company Docas de Santos (CDS) , then concessionaire of the Port of Santos, paying tribute to the two directors of this Company, who completed the project to build the Port of Santos. The two honorees look to the place where the first stretch of the quay, Cândido Gaffrée and Eduardo Guinle, founders of Company Docas de Santos (CDS) was inaugurated in 1892/02/02, in the Barão Square of Rio Branco, Santos, São Paulo, Brazil🇧🇷. The monument that is great, was created by the remarkable sculptor teacher Mazza, of Genoa, that is the author of the monument to Bartolomeu de Gusmão.,-))⚓️🇧🇷 ————————————————————————Pic by: 📷📸 @commodity_international_ ———————————————————————— _____ #santos#saopaulo#beautifulpicture#history#comex#commodities#commodity#export#amazing#photography#docas#portodesantos#photographyday#historic#city#historicbuilding#monument
