Meet Will Hesch, co-owner of Central Coast Bass Fishing and the Mend-it, coolfoot and Bac Rac lines. He is living the dream! 67 years old, raised on the Central Coast of California, Will has worked for 45 years as a potter, carpenter, tile-setter, pastor, fishing guide and general contractor.
In 2005 he discovered he was also an inventor. He started with the coolfoot line of boating pads, with the help of a friend, moved into the soft bait glue business (Mend-it) and in 2012 released his Bac Rac line of rod racks for boats. Will continues to invent and innovate as demonstrated by 2 new products he unveiled this year: the Lure Stik Magnum and the Bac Rac Junior.
Will absolutely adores Kathy, his best friend and wife of 45 years, partner in many adventures and discoveries. They raised the love of their lives, son Jesse who marrried his love, Sandy. Together they gave Will and Kathy three wonderful, funny and precious grandkids, ranging in age from 9 to 14 years. The entire family loves to fish and with Will’s guidance are becoming adept fisher-people.
Will enjoys his life as a believer in Jesus and loves helping folks understand God and His great love for them. He also plays bass and guitar in several church praise bands and has always helped his beautiful wife teach 4’s & 5’s Sunday School (for 32 years). #mendit#bacrac#coolfoot

Fished the final qualifier of the year for Arizona B.A.S.S. Nation at Lake Havasu and finished 1st with 17.67 lbs, also secured 1st Place in the Angler Of the Year race, and made the 2019 State Team!
Had a lot of pressure going into this event with several anglers hot on my heels for AOY. Had two patterns in practice one where I caught several fish for about 10lbs and another day where I only caught 4 fish for 19lbs. I decided to fish for the win rather than play it safe for points, wasn’t sure if I could get 5 good bites but stuck with it and it all worked out.
Thank you family, friends, and sponsors for your support!
