It appears in #everyday #life that I am consistently talking to peeps about standing up for themselves. This is not something I aspired to but is a constant theme that makes me question the thread of #society . Why is it that people want to knock you down instead of building you up. Is this a ladder climbing mentality based on fear of people losing their position. I usually don't address issues until I've seen them about 10,000 times over a period of 10-20 years or so. There appears to be bullying in high school & in the workplace & I'm not talking about one high school or one workplace. There's a pattern of destruction that needs to be uprooted in society. It doesn't benefit the bully or the bullied so why does this happen repeatedly. If someone is succeeding we should be happy. Why? Because this is a positive thread being woven into our environment. This actually helps you to be successful in your own endeavors. Why is the shortsightedness of bullying so rampant. What could be the root cause. It is selfishness. It is a me mentality full of venom that poisons its victim & eventually the perpetrator. Do you not know that what you give will come back to you. This works in the positive or the negative. It's a law in place set up by God just like the law of gravity. Is snakebite on your bucket list. If one desires their own demise they will denigrate their neighbor. The puff adder mentality is deadly. It poisons its victim & sets up a cycle of societal necrosis resulting in its own destruction. A person with selfhatred or selfishness destroys themselves because what you give is what you get. What you sew is what you reap. If you hate you cannot love your neighbor as yourself. So what is the solution- to live in a pit with vipers or get out of the pit & let them destroy themselves. They can change, but will they. You have to make the decision for yourself to love yourself & remove yourself from danger. It is not your job to change people. It is your job to change you. So everyone has a dark side of the moon in their past - are you going to let excuses hold you in the pit or step forward into light. Every story has an ending- what will yours be.
