We’re starting a new series this month on the page in honor of love. In honor of family. In honor of friends. In honor of relationships. Because it’s hard to say those words that get stuck in your throat. It’s hard to imagine a world without the people you love. It’s hard to tell when love turns into family. It’s in that moment that we lose the ability to process pain, patience, and love logically. And that’s what I want to explore. That’s what I’ve always wanted to understand.
Honored to know a great many veterans who are not only pillars because of their service, but also the positive and inspired work that they do after that service.
Shot from an enlightened chat I did with General Stanley McChrystal and Navy SEAL Chris Fussell.

The #wildfires in #California are affecting so many people. Prayers to those who have been affected & those who are still looking for loved ones. Regran_ed from @torreihart - Finally made it to my house today. The authorities weren’t letting anyone in the canyon but being the persistent person I am I said listen I need to get some medication and than I’m coming right back out. I had to do what I had to do. My stomach was in knots for 2 days and I barely ate. Everyone who knows me knows I love to eat so I was really stressed out. I’m so thankful that my home is safe and it was a pleasant surprise to see these guys when I pulled up. Thank you so much for all you do. This has truly been a humbling experience for me. Praying for everyone and their families who has been affected during this tragic moment. ❤️❤️❤️
People have ran out with the Jim Rohn, “You're The Average Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time With” quote. I've even heard of people dropping friends they truly love hanging around, just to say they only hang people with a title.
How about changing it to the 5 people you only get ADVICE and CONTENT from.
Consider your five being:
1. Money and Tax Strategist
2. Leadership & Relationship Coach
3. Soul & Spiritual Teacher
4. Mastermind Groups
5. Therapist or Self Love Coach
And keep your crew is your crew! The crew doesn't care if you have makeup on, hair done or nails done. They are there to make you LAUGH UNTIL YOU CANT LAUGH ANYMORE. -
So I’m clear, its SUPER true that you should monitor who is in your circle, but mindset crew and friend crew just might not be the same.
WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?
I used to shoot down my own ideas before they ever saw the light of day. I’d tell myself that they were unrealistic or that nobody would take me seriously. Of course, it was me who wasn’t taking myself seriously.
The first step to turning any idea into a plan is to believe you’re capable of doing so. Once you know that, the path ahead unveils itself more and more with every tiny step forward.
Follow @jakeseebeck immediately and take a good look at how much of a different photographer he is. Im currently blown away by his work. He truely stands out as his own artist. What he captures is absurd. Kid's mfn shnuts
3 HABITS OF SUCCESSFUL WRITERS
They say that our habits are our second nature. This is certainly true when it comes to writing. Like with all crafts, it requires both thought and precision, and you need to train your mind to be as specific as possible if you want others to see the vision you see in your mind. To ease the transition that happens when you decide to write down your thoughts, I think you need equal amounts of passion for writing, motivatio for sharing ideas, and discipline to keep you going when the going gets tough. Reading the biographies of some of the most well-known authors in the world, ranging from the Austrian poet and novelist, Stefan Zweig, to the British national treasure, intellectual and writer - Stephen Fry, I have noticed some rituals and habits that successful writers have in common. Let me share them with you.
1. Developing self-awareness
Taking the two examples of writers I've mentioned, Zweig and Fry, you can see that throughout their writing careers, they develop an understanding of their own skills and limitations. Zweig started out as a journalist. He did not however stay a journalist. Instead, he tried writing a novel, and an autobiography. He is also known as a poet. Fry wrote series of sketches while at University (by the way, if you're a fan of comedy, have a look at 'Bits of Fry and Laurie'. You can thank me later). He then reviewed books, wrote novels, autobiographies, and even a guide to understanding poetry! By challenging themselves to write in different genres, both authors discovered their strengths. In other words, they became aware of their temperaments as writers.
2.Making writing a priority
