#Gratitude30 Day 11:Gift • The holidays are fast approaching and so is the frenzy that goes along with buying gifts. I love the holidays and celebrating with loved ones. I especially love the food that I don’t usually cook or eat. • Recently, I was pleasantly surprised by family members when they brought #gifts for Chloe’s bday. They brought them without wrapping paper and just used recyclable bags. I love it. For years, I’ve been gifting family and friends using boxes & ribbons from previous years. Kids don’t care for these, all they want is the item inside. And I’m finally getting the same back from them. I also asked FF to give us hand me down of toys and previously loved books for Chloe. • For us a family, I tell Chito I don’t like stuff and that he doesn’t need to buy me anything. I prefer the #gift of #togetherness , the #gift of #experiences , the #gift of #travel no matter how near or far as long we are together as a family. Now that is a true gift. •
#Gratitude30 Day 10:Music • We are into musicals lately and what better way to show #gratitude and sing-along to #ABBA . I grew up listening to them and I would memorize the lyrics. • So thank you for the music for lifting us and shifting our moods. • Now who’s down for some #Nelly and #50Cent ?
#Gratitude30 Day 9:Laughter • Thé sound of a laughing baby will put anyone in a good mood. Its contagious. I have memories of Chito being silly and friends being ridiculous that tears would just start flowing. We all have those moments and every time I think of them, it still brings me so much joy. • I hope this makes you laugh as much as it does to me every time.
#Gratitude30 Day 8:Nature • I love this one. I figured I’ll post a picture of me this time not sleeping. This was taken B.C. (Before Chloe) and before the drought. #Yosemite is such a cool place to be enjoying #nature . Waterfalls cascading left and right and I’ve never seen one so close until #Yosemite . I was in awe 🤩. It was a humbling and exhilarating feeling. I realized how small I was next to these wonders. We went in June so it wasn’t so hot yet and the winter snow were just melting. I miss those days. • It’s time to go back again, maybe this Spring. Hopefully California get a lot rain and snow this winter. 🤞🏼 • #nomorefirespleaseineedtoshowmykidthisbeautifulcreation #didispellthatright
#Gratitude30 Day 7:Memories • After eating seafood stir fry that hubby made, my tummy started grumbling and you know what’s next. 💩 But my tummy still hurts and my little coconut said, “I’m sorry, Mommy” and gives me a hug.(🥰 melts). • It surprises me still that she remembers things or words I say to her or to her friends (Elmo, Mickey, Baby Doll, Huey) when we pretend-play. I hope she remembers all the kisses and snuggles we give her as she grows up because I surely have tons of memories.
#Gratitude30 Day 4: Color . Yellow. It makes me happy. .
#Gratitude30 Day 3: • ❤️L O V E❤️ • • She’s feisty, she’s sweet, she’s loving and she’s all ours. And we can’t get enough of her. I have a better understanding of what #love means because of her. • • I ask her if she loves me, and she would say “No!”. But I tell her that I love her anyway and she can’t do anything about it. You got me forever, #ChloeNoelle911
#Gratitude30 Day 2:Inspiration I find #inspiration in so many forms. From loved ones who’s doing their best to live the best life. From quotes and music that tug your heart with the deepest emotion. From people who help one another in times of crisis. From influencers who promote #sustainableliving and #savingourplanet . This quote from Fred Rogers always gets me. It reminds me that people are inherently kind and helpful. The future is still bright and colorful. That we have the chance to make a difference however small our efforts may be.
#Gratitude30 Day 1:Home So blessed to have everything we need and want in one place where we can always run for comfort and be our playground.
Let them be little.
