Happy to be back and continue sharing our recipes with you furiends🐶 In the bowl tonight: • 🦃 Turkey mince • 🦌 Venison ribs • 🐇 Rabbit and offal mince • 🐟 Sardines - Great source of omega-3 fatty acids; • 🌿 Blueberries - The antioxidants in blueberries strengthen the immune system by fighting free radicals, which are responsible for cellular and molecular damage in dogs and humans. Adding antioxidants to a dog’s diet reduces the effects of brain aging, which is good news for those of us with older dogs. Vitamin C and fiber are vital components of proper canine nutrition. • ☘Parsley – nutritive and rich in protein, fiber, and vitamins (A, C, B1, B2, and K). Used in moderation it helps with “bad”breath or to soothe the stomach. • 🌱 Garlic - May help you in the war on fleas and ticks if you feed it to your dogs during flea and tick season. It takes a couple of weeks for garlic to build up in your dog's natural coat oil, so start feeding it before the bug season starts. Moderation is a key as garlic can be toxic to dogs. • 🥦Fermented vegs - Fermented vegetables are an excellent source of fiber, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. Fermented foods are easier to digest and don't make the gut work hard to break down and absorb the nutrients in the food; Fermented foods provide healthy, natural probiotics for gut health; Fermented foods help improve gut health, which frees up the immune system can do its job; helping to decrease allergies and inflammation). ⚠️ Always check how much veggies, supplements your furiend needs. Moderation is the key. Some of the ingredients we use can be both toxic and beneficial. Our recipes work for us, but might not be ideal for your doggies.
Play date with Zola the Alsatian 😅 He was super scared of me at first (because he knows I’m the boss no matter of my size ) but after months of avoiding me he finally gave in 😂
Happy Friday furiends 😎 We've had a long afternoon walk in the park and now ready for the weekend 🐶
We are back with a delicious recipe for healthy organic homemade dog treats🐶 It's the first time we are using tea in our treats and we are very excited to see the effects. @doggyscuppa evening brew is our choice - organic all natural brew for dogs 😍 We also can't wait to feel the calming effect. Especially with so many thunderstorms these days.... The ingredients: 400gr beef liver 3 to 4 cups oat flour (grounded at home) 100ml of Doggy's Cuppa evening brew 1 tbsp fish oil 1 shredded carrot bunch of parsley We put the liver in the food processor to make a smooth paste. We then added all ingredients together to form a dough. once the dough was done, we rolled it out into thin strips and cut into small training size pieces. They only needed about 15-20mins in a preheated oven (180°C).
Helloooooooo we are having a picnic furiends and I’m in charge of guarding our food from furry imposters 🤪
Raw meaty bones offering nutritional, physical and mental benefits. Dogs need the minerals provided by animal bones as part of a healthy, balanced diet. The primary nutrients provided by bones are calcium and phosphorus. Raw meaty bones provide additional benefits to the health of your pup worth looking into: • 🍖Cleaner, whiter teeth and Healthier gums. Bones have the advantage of scraping the plaque and tartar deposits off the dog's teeth, preventing gum and periodontal disease. • 🍖Better smelling breath • 🍖Solid stool and less stool odor. Feeding raw bones prevents anal gland problems. The bowel movements after feeding bones are harder which helps express anal glands and get rid of toxins. • 🍖Help keeps your dog “regular”. Feeding bones makes the stomach muscle layers stronger, which prevents bloat. Bones also have a cleansing effect as they provide roughage in the diet and bulk for healthy bowel movements. • 🍖Raw meaty bones provide recreational activity for adult dogs and an appropriate chewing outlet for puppies. Young and teething dogs have a psychological and physical need to chew. Besides providing a fun and engaging (and tasty!) activity, young dogs can properly develop jaw, skull, neck, and shoulder muscling. • 🍖Raw bones, and the marrow within, are both natural nutritional sources of protein, fat, minerals, calcium, and phosphorous.
